What is Pullidex?
Pullidex is an avian genetics laboratory in Bailey, Michigan, formerly known as The Silkie Lab. It runs PCR DNA sexing, color and trait genetics, and disease screening for chickens, ducks, geese, swans, ratites, and birds of prey. Customers pull three to five feathers with the root attached, or send a dried blood card, blood vial, or eggshell sample, and mail them to the lab themselves. Results are posted to the customer’s online account in 2 to 3 business days after your samples arrive of the samples arriving at the lab. Every test is run in house.
