Sample Instructions
Required before you mail your samples
- Complete the form on our website for every bird or sample. This is required, not optional. we cannot provide results without the completed forms.
- Write your order number clearly on the outside of the mailing package or envelope.
- Seal every individual sample in its own plastic or zip-top bag. We will not accept folded or taped paper packets, paper envelopes placed inside a larger envelope instead of plastic bags, or samples that are loose together.
- Use only the collection material listed in the instructions for your sample type. Do not send samples on paper towels, toilet paper, cupcake liners, or similar materials.
You need to purchase the samples you would like from our Catalog, before sending any in. You can fill out the forms to print from within your account once logged in if you ordered a bundle. We do not send you supplies to collect samples, unless you order a non-required Sample Collection Kit.

Turnaround time: 2 to 3 business days after we have received the sample. You will receive an email once the samples arrive at our laboratory.
